All trims, including the Sport (which came out in 2018) will come with a backup camera. The higher-end trims come with dynamic guidelines. This makes it easy to know where you park your vehicle with confidence.
For the earlier models, it comes with both a 7-inch screen, as well as a smaller one for the base LX trim. These models won’t come with phone connectivity, which if you’re not too worried about that, then you won’t miss much.
In 2018, the model saw some new features added as available options, which are the automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.
In 2019, the model saw a few more changes, the main one for Fit models that came equipped with Honda Sensing. This comes with a suite of driver-assistance features that has automatic high-beam headlamps.
While this wasn’t the most flash vehicle on the market, it is among the safest models on the road. When this generation debuted, it was given the IIHS Top Safety Pick, receiving acceptable to good ratings in all areas.
With this model not doing so well compared to others in the Honda family, this was the last generation. But that doesn’t mean that you should stay away from this model, especially if you’re looking for something safe, efficient, and stylish.
In its last year on the market, Car and Driver noted that the Fit’s interior is “among the best in the segment”, thanks to its spaciousness. This is because “in most dimensions, the Fit's cabin is the largest in the subcompact class” and “its rear-seat area in particular is astonishingly roomy and has significantly more legroom than any direct competitor”. Even stating that “it nearly matches that of some full-size sedans”.
