The third generation model comes powered with two engines, with these being the 1.6L I4, and the 2.0L I4. Of these two engines, the ones that will suit those who want the most mileage is the 2.0L I4 as it comes with an EPA rated 30 MPG combined.
With this model coming in a handful of trims, the one that you want to look for are the EX, and the GT-Line Turbo, this is because these trims will come with a 10.3-inch screen. The LX, S, GT-Line, and X-Line will all come with the 7-inch screens.
Some optional features that you can find are a wireless smartphone charging pad, a head-up display, push-button ignition with keyless entry, and heated seats and steering wheel. This makes the model feel much more upscale, despite having a low price tag.
In 2021, the EV was added to the lineup. This equipped the vehicle with a 64kWh battery pack, allowing you to get up to 243 miles of total range on one charge. The next change came in 2022, seeing the model lose its manual transmission.
In 2023, the model saw a facelift, and while it came with new exterior styling with the revised headlights, taillights, front bumper, and rear fascia, along with new two-tone color combinations and new wheel designs. The X-Line, and the 1.6L I4 were discontinued this year too, making these the last of the large changes for the model.
